
WALESKA, Ga. – Lenora DeVries of Cumberlands and Ashlee Baker of Cumberlands are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women’s Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 16.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Lenora DeVries – Cumberlands – Freshman
- Recorded 8 groundballs and had 1 draw control in the 13-2 win at No. Lawrence Tech (Mich.)
- Caused 7 turnovers.
- Also had a 1 goal and 1 assist.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Ashlee Baker – Cumberlands – Junior
- Tallied 6 goals and 1 assist in a 13-2 win at No. 8 Lawrence Tech (Mich.).
- Scored the 6 goals on 8 shots, all of which were on goal.
- Had 2 groundballs and 2 caused turnovers on the week.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
